Unison Prayer of Confession
Almighty God, you see us as we are and know our inmost thoughts. You know the ways we’ve fallen short. You know the work we’ve left undone, the mercy we’ve left ungiven, the love we’ve left unshared, the peace we’ve left unmade. You know the arrogance, pride and violence that we’ve chosen instead of your path of forgiveness and reconciliation. You know who we are. Help us to see who we might be. Forgive us, and transform us, that we might become who you imagine us to become, in your sight, and by your mercy. Amen.
Silent Prayer of Confession
Assurance of Pardon
Leader: Friends, the Lord sees you and knows you. The Lord sees you and loves you. The Lord sees you and calls you. Know that you are forgiven, and be at peace.

THE LORD’S SUPPER
INVITATION TO THE LORD’S TABLE:
Let us worship God, with hope,
allowing the colors of our various lives to appear, distinct,
yet unified, like a rainbow.
Let us worship in the hope that just for a moment,
God’s Spirit might shine through us to bring light and color
to an often dark and complex world.
WE HUNGER, NOT ONLY FOR THE RAINBOW
TO APPEAR BRIGHT AND ILLUMINATING,
BUT ALSO THAT WE MGHT COME TO THE END OF THIS RAINBOW FED AND READY AGAIN TO MEET WIND AND STORM WITH HOPE - HOPE OF CLEAR SKIES AND RAINBOWS AHEAD, ONCE MORE.
Friends, God prepares a feast for you and all people;
a feast of good things, a feast of peace.
Come and taste,
Eat and be filled.
Drink deep and never thirst again.
Come to the feast God prepares.
THANKSGIVING PRAYER:
God be with you,
AND ALSO WITH YOU.
Life up your heats;
WE LIFT THEM UP TO GOD.
Let us thank God:
IT’S GOOD TO THANK GOD.
WE THANK YOU GOD, THAT YOU HAVE PROVIDED FOR
ALL THE WORLDS THAT EVER WERE OR WILL BE
BY GIVING YOURSELF TO THEM IN LOVE.
IF WE GO TO THE HEIGHTS OF THE MOUNTAINS,
OR IF WE MAKE THE GRAVE OUR BED, YOU ARE WITH US.
IF WE GO TO THE DEPTHS OF THE SEA,
YOUR RIGHT HAND HOLDS US FAST.
WE THANK YOU FOR JESUS, YOUR WORD,
WHO LIVED AMONG US, UNCOVERING YOUR PRESENCE.
WE THANK YOU THAT YOU STAMPED HIS DEATH WITH VICTORY
AND THAT LIFE, NOT DEATH, WAS THE FINAL WORD.
WE ASK NOW THAT YOU BLESS US,
AS WE SHARE THIS BREAD AND CUP,
THAT WE MIGHT BE NOURISHED
TO BE YOUR SERVANTS TO THE WORLD.
AND NOW, AS YOUR DAUGHTERS AND SONS
WHOM YOU HAVE RECONCILED TO YOURSELF,
WE PRAY IN ONE VOICE THE PRAYER
THAT YOUR SON TAUGHT US SAYING:
OUR FATHER WHO ART IN HEAVEN,
HALLOWED BE THY NAME.
THY KINGDOM COME.
THY WILL BE DONE ON EARTH, AS IT IS IN HEAVEN.
GIVE US THIS DAY OUR DAILY BREAD,
AND FORGIVE US OUR DEBTS,
AS WE FORGIVE OUR DEBTORS.
AND LEAD US NOT INTO TEMPTATION,
BUT DELIVER US FROM EVIL;
FOR THINE IS THE KINGDOM, AND THE POWER,
AND THE GLORY FOR EVER. AMEN.
BREAKING THE BREAD AND SHARING THE CUP
PRAYER AFTER COMMUNION:
Thank you, God, for renewing us at your table by the presence of our Christ.
Thank you for your eternal love, the Bread of Life, that sustains all creation.
May you continue to love us in our faithful acts
and by that love discourage us from our unfaithful acts,
that we might rejoice as your servants to the world. Amen.
